It’s not all work here. We have fun too. It just so happens that one of our employees was profiled by Field and Stream when he set a new record for a velvet whitetail deer.
If you see Groves in the news, please send that information to Jamie Knight, Director of Human Resources. We love to keep track of those articles and reports.
In April 2021 we had two great employees retire from Groves. We want to extend a hearty congratulations to Max Cockrell and Eddie Melton. Max was a crew leader for our powerline distribution services. He started working at Groves in 1995 and put in 26 years of hard work and dedication. Eddie was an operator for a powerline transmission crew. He started work at Groves in 1997 and gave us 24 years of his talent and ability. Thank you to both of these men and we wish them the best of luck in their retirement. May it be long and restful.
