GR Chandler joined Groves Electrical in 2014, but he has been around a lot longer than that. He grew up around the Groves/Sharber families. After earning a finance degree at the University of Kentucky and an accounting degree at West Florida University, he came back to the area to work as a CPA in public accounting before finding a work home with his old friends at Groves Electrical Services.

GR started as a Financial Controller, overseeing particular aspects of the company’s finances. When the position of CFO came open, GR was selected to fill the role. Now he oversees all the company’s finances, including all reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
When he is not at work, you might find him out on the golf course or getting in some duck hunting when it’s too cold to be out on the course. Otherwise, his family keeps him pretty busy. He is married and has two young boys who always have something going on.
