Andy Bachman currently oversees all of Groves’ operations. He has been an integral part of the creation and development of Groves’ diverse electrical capabilities as it has grown from a small company to an industry leader. Andy has over 30 years of engineering and construction experience and has been with Groves since 1991.

He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. He started out working on powerline crews to gain valuable experience. With a firm grasp on how the business operated, over many years he was able to work in design, estimating and operations management. Andy is driven with a strong passion to constantly develop and improve the Company’s service capabilities and its competitive advantages in the industry.
Andy’s extensive technical background along with hands on practical experience allows him to lead with practical solutions. Andy is a registered professional engineer and also maintains electrical certifications and electrical contractor’s licenses in multiple states. As Andy says, “the job is never boring. We will take on a project no one else will touch and complete it. That’s what we like to do!”
